Terms of use and sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the Marmanda service, available online, as well as the purchase of its paid subscription. Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. What the service does

Marmanda is an online service that helps plan and follow a hobby vegetable garden. It lets you describe a plot, generate a placed and dated crop plan, browse a sourced agronomic library and keep a journal of the crops you actually grow.

The service is intended for personal, non-professional use. Recommendations are indicative: they rest on documented sources but guarantee no yield and no successful crop.

3. Your account

Access requires an account with a valid email address, verified before first login. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for actions taken from your account. An account is personal and may not be shared.

The service is not intended for people under the age of fifteen.

4. Plans and prices

The service offers a limited free plan and a single paid subscription, monthly or yearly. The features and prices that apply are those shown on the Pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included.

5. Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. No card details are collected or stored by Marmanda. The subscription is charged in advance, per period, and renews automatically until cancelled.

6. Cancellation

The subscription can be cancelled at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current, already paid period; no started period is refunded pro rata. The account then returns to the free-plan limits. No data is deleted; the latest plan remains readable and a copy of personal data can always be requested.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under consumer law you have fourteen days from purchase to withdraw. By requesting immediate access to the paid service, you accept that performance begins before that period ends; withdrawal remains possible, with the amount due calculated pro rata to the period consumed. A message to the contact address is enough.

8. Your obligations

You agree not to disrupt the service, not to attempt to reach other users' data, not to extract the agronomic library in bulk by automated means, and not to resell access to the service.

9. Availability

Marmanda is an online service provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or incidents. They are announced whenever possible.

10. Liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of gardening decisions taken from the service's recommendations, for lost harvests, or for temporary unavailability of the service. Liability may not exceed the amount actually paid for the last twelve months of subscription.

11. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. Any substantial change is brought to your attention before it takes effect, with the option to cancel your subscription if it does not suit you.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls to the competent courts. A consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or the European online dispute resolution platform.
